Just as I suspected, lockdown 6.0 did happen, and so recently after we got out of our last lockdown 27th July. We started the 6th one on Thursday 5th Aug at 8pm, and the estimate is for 7 days (unless extended).
On a brighter note, I’ve been watching some of the Olympics in Tokyo Japan (this year it’s streamed free on 7plus which is great), being able to choose the games I missed. I’m not sure if having the games was a good idea for Japan during the pandemic, but it is a break from the doom and gloom news of corona virus you hear everyday. Australia was 4th on the medal tally at one stage with 17 golds, the closing ceremony is happening tomorrow (Sunday) evening.
Anyway, we had to cancel a few events this weekend due to the lockdown, let’s hope the vaccinations arrive earlier and we don’t have too many lockdowns to go.
