So the Easter break just went past so quickly, it didn’t feel like much of a break at all, but it had been good to have a staycation just be away from work. Finally purchased a new powerful vacuum cleaner so got a lot of the cleaning done.
So what are the main things that keeps me occupied at home with COVID-19?
1. Online shopping and deliveries – extra clothes, household and grocery shopping (finally Woolworths and Coles deliveries are back)
2. Lots of home cooking – since the weather is starting to get cold, have been making our winter favorites like lasagne, shepherds pie, soups, casserols, steaks and lamb shanks (Spanish style). Next week it’s curry laksa and Korean BBQ!

3. Keeping the kids busy with activities and rotating their toys – found this colouring book gift from a family member that fills out with water

4. Decluttering and tidying up around the house – finally fixed the mini bench/stool we bought from IKEA over a year ago and once assembled, it fits nicely as a laptop stand next to our couch. Also sorted out my wardrobe to make room for the online clothes shopping. Sorted out the kids clothes (next size up) and out some into a bag for donations. Also ended up cleaning the fish tank after months of putting it off.
